'The Yellow River Cantata' - Change of Conductor


We regret to inform you that guest conductor Daye Lin has to withdraw from the performances of ‘The Yellow River Cantata’ on 24-25 May 2024 (Fri, Sat) at 8pm in the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall. HKCO is grateful to Prof Chan Wing-wah for stepping in for these performances. Symphonic Suite Raise the Red Lantern (Excerpts) will be replaced by Chan Wing-wah’s Eight Streeds. The concert runs approximately 90 minutes with an intermission.

Renowned conductor Prof. Chan Wing-wah will be conducting the Orchestra and a joint chorus made up of choral groups from Hong Kong and Shenzhen in a programme of choral and orchestral masterpieces in Chinese music.
